延伸因子G(Elongation Factor G),简称EF-G,又称EF-2,曾被称为转位酶(translocase),是一种原核延伸因子,具有GTP酶活性。现认为EF-G的GTP酶活性与tRNA和mRNA穿过核糖体的协同移动有关[1]。

EF-G在每一轮多肽链延长的结束阶段催化tRNA和mRNA的转位到核糖体的下游[1]。和EF-Tu*tRNA*GTP三元复合物相似,EF-G与核糖体结合时处于与GTP结合的状态。
除了在翻译中的作用外,EF-G还与核糖体再循环因子(英语:Ribosome Recycling Factor)一起以GTP依赖方式促进核糖体再循环[2]。
EF-G的进化历程复杂,细菌有很多EF-G的旁系变体,说明不同的EF-G变体可能发生了亚功能化(英语:subfunctionalization)[5]。
