在2007年SuperWASP的专案发现了系外行星WASP-3b [2]。
在2010年，依据WASP-3b凌星时间的变化，推断还有另一颗行星的存在 [3]。这颗被怀疑的行星经由额外的观测获得了证实，并命名为WASP-3c [4]。
