Fürth (German: [fʏʁt] (listen); East Franconian: Färdd [[Help:IPA|[fɛ:ɐ̯tt]]]; Yiddish: פיורדא, romanized: Fiurda) is a city in the German state Bavaria, next to Nuremberg (Nürnberg). It has about 118,000 inhabitants. The first German railway connection was between Nürnberg and Fürth.
