Навальні́ца — складаная атмасфэрная зьява, неабходнай часткай якой зьяўляюцца шматразовыя электрычныя зарады паміж хмарамі альбо паміж хмарай і зямлёй (маланкі), якія таксама суправаджаюцца гукавой зьявай — громам.
Навальніца зьвязана з развіцьцём магутных кублавата-дажджавых воблакаў, што таксама зьвязана з моцнай хісткасьцю стратыфікацыі паветра пры высокім утрыманьні вільгаці. З гэткай прычыны навальніца суправаджаецца моцнымі шквалістымі вятрамі й залевай, а часам разам з градам. У той самы час навальніца — зьява адносна нядоўгатэрміновая, асобная навальніца рэдка цягнецца больш за 2 гадзіны. Вылучаюць навальніцы франтальныя й унутрымасавыя.
Дзеля папярэджаньня ўдару маланкай пры навальніцы варта пазьбягаць: 1) купаньня і дотыку вады, 2) дакрананьня да мэталаканструкцыяў, 3) бегу і язды з адкрытым верхам самаходу, 4) ляжаньня на зямлі і знаходжаньня ў стозе сена, 5) набліжэньня да асобных высокіх будынкаў і дрэваў бліжэй за 30 мэтраў[1].
