Janja je rijeka koja protiče Semberijom, sjeveroistočnim dijelom Bosne i Hercegovine. Dužine je oko 53 km[1] i lijeva je pritoka Drine.

Janja izvire na jugoistočnim padinama Majevice, u blizini administrativne granice Tuzle i Kalesije, na nadmorskoj visini od oko 670 m.[1] Od izvora, rijeka otprilike polovinom svoga toka teče sjeverno prolazeći kroz teritoriju Tuzle, Lopara i Ugljevika. Negdje na polovini svoga toka rijeka skreće ka istoku i do ušća u Drinu zadržava pravac toka. Na tom dijelu toka rijeka protiče kroz Maleševce i Ravno Polje u Ugljeviku kao i bijeljinska naselja Suho Polje, Modran i Janju gdje se nedaleko od istoimenog naselja ulijeva u Drinu. Nadmorska visina ušća Janje iznosi oko 150 metara nadmorske visine.
