Gregory Arthur Phillinganes ( Detroit, Míchigan, 12 de maig de 1956) és un teclista, músic de sessió i compositor nord-americà.[1]

Biografia
Encara que se'l coneix més com a músic de sessió, de 1976 a 1981, Phillinganes va ser membre de la banda Wonderlove, de Stevie Wonder,[2] i durant la dècada de 1980, de la banda d'Eric Clapton.
A partir de 1979, Phillinganes va ser el director musical participant en tots els àlbums de Michael Jackson.[2]
De 2004 a 2008, Phillinganes va ser membre de la banda Toto, havent substituït a David Paich .
Com a compositor, ha escrit cançons per als Brothers Johnson i Lionel Richie, i també ha coescrit cançons amb Paulinho Da Costa.[3]
