1. fer

   Tu es! ― Fes-ho!

   Man tut, was man kann. ― Es fa el que es pot.

2. ficar (col·loquial)

   Tu das hier rein. ― Fica-ho aquí.

   Ich würde noch was Salz an die Kartoffeln tun. ― Jo ficaria més sal a les patates.

3. fingir, fer veure com si (col·loquial)

   Er hat nur so getan. ― Només ho ha fet veure.

   Tu nicht so, als wüsstest du nichts! ― No facis veure com si no sabessis res!

4. funcionar (acompanyat de es)

   Die Uhr tut es nicht mehr. ― El rellotge ja no funciona.

5. saber-ne greu

   Es tut mir leid. ― Em sap greu.
