It consists of <b>Belle Isle</b>, an island in the <a href="/en/Detroit_River" title="Detroit River" class="wl">Detroit River</a>, as well as several surrounding islets. The <a href="/en/Canada–United_States_border" title="Canada–United States border" class="wl">U.S.-Canada border</a> is in the channel south of Belle Isle.</p>
