Loren Dale Mitchell (August 23, 1921 – January 5, 1987) was an American professional baseball left fielder. He played eleven seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1946 to 1956 for the Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Dodgers.[1] A native of Colony, Oklahoma, he threw and batted left-handed, and was listed as 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall and 195 pounds (88 kg).
