Delaware is a city in and the county seat of Delaware County, Ohio, United States.[3] It is located near the center of Ohio, about 30 miles (48 km) north of Columbus as part of the Columbus metropolitan area. The population was 41,302 at the 2020 census.[4] Delaware was founded in 1808 and was incorporated in 1816.
