Playing the drumset since 2002, He is a graduate of the Istanbul State Conservatory.[1] In 2008, he became the first Turkish drummer to win Modern Drummer's Undiscovered Drummer Contest.[2] Titiz has played for Turkish rock bands 'Athena' and 'Duman'. With Athena, he represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, placing 4th with 195 points.[3]
