Góreczno [ɡuˈrɛt͡ʂnɔ] (German: Bergvorwerk) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek (Gemeinde Oberglogau), within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Głogówek (Glogow), 21 km (13 mi) east of Prudnik, and 41 km (25 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
