Necdet Uran (1910 – 14 February 1973) was an admiral in the Turkish Naval Forces who served as the 5th commander-in-chief of the Navy from 20 June 1961 to 16 August 1968. He commanded the Turkish Naval Academy from 1952 and 1954, TCG Gaziantep, a Tinaztepe-class destroyer,[1] and commander of Naval Fleet.[2][3]
