Orlivka (Ukrainian: Орлівка; Romanian: Cartal) is a selo (village) in Izmail Raion, Odesa Oblast, southern Ukraine. It belongs to Reni urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[1] Historically known as Cartal, it has an ethnically mostly Romanian population.[2]

Until 18 July 2020, Orlivka belonged to Reni Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Odessa Oblast to seven. The area of Reni Raion was merged into Izmail Raion.[3][4]
