Ozinsky District

Ozinsky District (Russian: Озинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,100 square kilometers (1,600 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Ozinki.[2] Population: 19,147 (2010 Census);[3] 23,568 (2002 Census);[9] 26,603 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Ozinki accounts for 48.3% of the district's total population.[3]
