Pankrushikhinsky District

Pankrushikhinsky District (Russian: Панкруши́хинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the krai. The area of the district is 2,700 square kilometers (1,000 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Pankrushikha.[1] Population: 13,364 (2010 Russian census);[3] 16,763 (2002 Census);[7] 17,591 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of the administrative center accounts for 36.8% of the district's total population.[3]
