Taheri Rural District

Taheri Rural District (Persian: دهستان طاهرئ) is in Siraf District of Kangan County, Bushehr province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Parak.[3] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Taheri[4] (now the city of Bandar Siraf).[5]

At the census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 3,886 in 810 households.[6] There were 8,320 inhabitants in 1,524 households at the following census of 2011.[7] In the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 23,138 in 2,080 households. The most populous of its 10 villages was Shirinu, with 9,976 people.[2]
In 2017, the rural district and the city of Bandar Siraf were separated from the district in the establishment of Siraf District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]
