The 2024–25 Chicago Blackhawks season was the 99th season (98th season of play) for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on September 25, 1926.[1]
On December 5, 2024, the Blackhawks fired head coach Luke Richardson and named Anders Sorensen the interim head coach.[2]
On March 20, 2025, the Blackhawks were eliminated from playoff contention for the fifth straight season following a loss to the Los Angeles Kings.[3]

On June 3, 2024, The Blackhawks announced they would not renew their contract with NBC Sports Chicago and join the newly established Chicago Sports Network along with the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox. The network is available on cable providers, streaming services, and over-the-air.[4]
