Counting of votes was on 4 June 2024.^[11] In 2024 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Pradip Kumar Sahu defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Prakasha Chandra Bijuli by a margin of 47,814 votes.^[7]
