This constituency includes Bramhagiri block, Krushnapraad block and 11 Gram panchayats (Kanheibidyadharpur, Gaudakera, Bijaya Ramachandrapur, Pratapramchandrapur, Biranarasinghapur, Birabalabhadrapur, Pratappurusottampur, Hantuka, Basudevpur, Kerandipur and Bhailipur) of Puri sadar block.^[2][3]

Counting of votes was on 4th June 2024.^[11] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Upasna Mohapatra defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Umakanta Samantaray by a margin of 9,830 votes.^[7]
