CLdN operates roll-on/roll-off, container, and bulk vessels throughout Europe. RoRo services began in 1965 under the name Cobelfret and has continued to expand since then.[1]

History
The company began as Dieschburg & Cigrang, later Cigrang Freres, in 1929. In 1939, the name was changed Compagnie Belge d'Affrètements, operating as Cobelfret. Cobelfret's first owned vessel was bought in 1952.[2] RoRo services began in 1965.[1]
By 2011, the company began operating their RoRo services under CLdN with their bulk service continuing under Cobelfret.[2]
CLdN acquired Seatruck Ferries in 2022, and then was fully brought under their branding and, Seatruck Ferries became defunct on 19 February 2024.[3]

Future Fleet
CLdN signed a contract to build 10 container vessels with a capacity of 1,100 TEU by HD Hyundai Mipo in Ulsan, South Korea. They are currently building the two Ro-Ro ships listed above. The new ships are due to be delivered from January 2027.[6]
