South Korean girl group Itzy has embarked on two concert tours and held two showcases since their debut in 2019. Their debut concert tour, Checkmate World Tour, began in South Korea in August 2022 and later expanded to include North America and Asia.

Checkmate World Tour was the first worldwide concert tour by South Korean girl group Itzy, held in support of their fifth extended play (EP), Checkmate (2022). The tour began on August 6, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea, and included 17 shows across Asia and North America.

Background

On June 2, 2022, JYP Entertainment announced that Itzy would return with new music in July, followed by their first world tour in support of the release. The announcement included a promotional scheduler detailing their fifth EP, Checkmate,[1] as well as a partial schedule of the tour.[2][3] On June 22, 2022, it was revealed that the second show in Seoul, scheduled for August 7, would be live-streamed and restreamed on September 4 via Beyond Live.[4] On October 17, four additional dates in Southeast Asia were announced,[5] followed by the addition of a second show in Manila for January 15, 2023.[6]

Born to Be World Tour was the second worldwide concert tour by South Korean girl group Itzy, held in support of their second studio album Born to Be (2024). The tour began on February 24, 2024, at Jamsil Arena in Seoul, South Korea, and concluded on August 10, 2024, at AsiaWorld–Arena in Hong Kong. It included 30 shows across Asia, Oceania, the Americas, and Europe. Due to Lia's hiatus, the group promoted the tour as a quartet.

Background

On December 3, 2023, JYP Entertainment announced that Itzy would return with new music the following month, accompanied by their second world tour in support of the new release. The tour schedule was revealed on January 26, 2024.[10] On February 8, a second show was added in Toronto for June 29, 2024.[11]
