Heartpacing

Heartpacing is the third extended play (EP) by American recording artist Jaydes, released on August 14, 2022, through 10K Projects. The EP contains nine tracks and features from Rich Amiri and Riovaz, and later gained virality on streaming platforms such as Soundcloud and Spotify.^{[citation needed]} Heartpacing consists of nine tracks, and was only supported by one single, "Built Off Slime."

Background and recording

Following his signing to 10K Projects, a subsidiary of Warner Records, Jaydes would work on a new project. Heartpacing is a self-produced nine-track EP by Jaydes that clocks in at about 16 minutes.^[2][3] Jaydes had worked on the EP entirely in FL Studio.^[3] It includes tracks featuring Rich Amiri and Riovaz.^[1] In the years following its release, "Heartpacing" gained renewed traction.^[4][5]

Critical reception

Alphonse Pierre writing for Pitchfork said the project had reconnected plugg by pairing emo quavers with the "luxuriant" production typical of [the style].^[4]
