Jahdae Walker (born July 5, 2002) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Grand Valley State Lakers and Texas A&M Aggies.

Early life and high school

Walker attended Shaker Heights High School located in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Coming out of high school, he committed to play college football for the Grand Valley State Lakers.[1]

College career

Grand Valley State

During his true freshman season in 2021, he notched two receptions for 28 yards.[2] In the 2022 season, Walker broke out, hauling in 30 passes for 636 yards and four touchdowns.[3] After the conclusion of the 2022 season, he decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[4]

Texas A&M

Walker transferred to play for the Texas A&M Aggies.[5] During his first season with the Aggies in 2023, he hauled in 35 receptions for 590 yards and two touchdowns, while also blocking a punt.[6] In week 13 of the 2024 season, Walker recorded seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown versus Auburn.[7] In the 2024 season, He hauled in 29 receptions for 290 yards and two touchdowns.[8] After the conclusion of the 2024 season, Walker decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[9]

Professional career

After not being selected in the 2025 NFL draft, Walker signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent.[12] During his 2025 NFL preseason debut, he recorded three receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown in a 24-24 tie against Miami.[13] In the 2025 NFL preseason finale, Walker caught three passes including the game-winning touchdown versus the Kansas City Chiefs.[14] After a strong 2025 preseason, Walker ended as one of the teams top UDFA's, as he competed for a 53-man roster spot.[15][16]
