Jharsuguda is a Assembly constituency of Jharsuguda district in Odisha State.It was established in 1951. In 2008 delimitation, Laikera Assembly constituency subsumed into this constituency.[1]

Counting of votes was on 4 June 2024.[12] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Tankadhar Tripathy defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Dipali Das by a margin of 1,333 votes.[6]
