Amendt played college baseball at the Southeastern Community College and Dallas Baptist University. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the ninth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[1]

Amendt signed with the Diamondbacks and spent his first season with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and Visalia Rawhide. He started 2024 with the Hillsboro Hops before being promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles.

Demetrio Crisantes

Crisantes attended Nogales High School in Nogales, Arizona.[2] He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the seventh round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[3][4]

Crisantes signed with the Diamondbacks and made his professional debut in 2023 with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks.[5] He started 2024 with the ACL Diamondbacks before being promoted to the Visalia Rawhide.[6]

J. D. Dix

John Samuel "JD" Dix (born October 12, 2005) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Dix grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and attended Whitefish Bay High School. As a freshman, he batted .449 with 24 RBIs and 21 stolen bases.[7] Dix committed to play college baseball at Alabama after the season.[8] He batted .452 as a junior.[9] Dix was selected to play in the MLB All-American Game during the following summer.[10] He also de-committed from Alabama and flipped his commitment to Wake Forest.[11]

Dix was selected with the 35th selection of the 2024 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks.[12] He signed with the Diamondbacks on July 23, 2024, and received an under-slot signing bonus of $2,150,000.[13]

Hayden Durke

Hayden James Durke (born May 1, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Durke attended North Vermillion High School in Maurice, Louisiana.[14] He went unselected in the shortened 2020 Major League Baseball draft, and fulfilled his commitment to play college baseball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for the Ragin' Cajuns.[15] As a freshman in 2021, he was named their opening day starter.[16] For the season, he appeared in 14 games and went 2-3 with a 5.26 ERA.[17] He pitched only 12+13 innings as a sophomore in 2022, and entered the transfer portal after the season.[18] He transferred to Rice University, but did not make an appearance in the 2023 season.[19][20] He pitched for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League in the summers of both 2022 and 2023.[21][22][23] He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 13th round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft and signed for $350,000.[24]

Durke made his professional debut with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks, pitching to a 9.72 ERA over seven relief appearances. He spent the 2024 season with the Visalia Rawhide and the Hillsboro Hops, going 4-1 with a 3.18 ERA, 72 strikeouts, and 45 walks over 51 innings between both teams. He was assigned back to Hillsboro to open the 2025 season and was promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles in late May.[25]

Daniel Eagen

Eagen attended Fuquay-Varina High School in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and played college baseball at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina.[26] As a junior at Presbyterian in 2024, he started 14 games and went 6-2 with a 2.67 ERA and 121 strikeouts over 77+23 innings.[27] After his junior year, he was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the third round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[28] He signed for $650,000.[29]

Eagen was assigned to Arizona's Spring Breakout roster during 2025 spring training.[30] After spring training, he was assigned to the Hillsboro Hops to make his professional debut.[31]

Joe Elbis

Joe Leandro Elbis (born September 24, 2002) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB).

On July 12, 2019, Elbis signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent.[32] He did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[33] Elbis made his professional debut in 2021. In 12 games (10 starts) split between the rookie–level Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and Single–A Visalia Rawhide, he compiled a 3–3 record and 3.52 ERA with 59 strikeouts across 53+23 innings pitched.[34]

Elbis returned to Visalia in 2022, but made only 3 starts before being shut down with shoulder inflammation.[35] He split the 2023 campaign between Visalia and the Single–A Hillsboro Hops. In 24 starts for the two affiliates, Elbis registered a 4–9 record and 3.75 ERA with 97 strikeouts over 115+13 innings pitched.[36]

In 2024, Elbis made 24 starts split between the High–A Hillsboro Hops and Double–A Amarillo Sod Poodles, compiling a 7–6 record and 3.39 ERA with 112 strikeouts across 135+13 innings pitched. Following the season, the Diamondbacks added Elbis to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.[37]

Elbis was optioned to Double-A Amarillo to begin the 2025 season.[38]

Spencer Giesting

Spencer William Giesting (born July 2, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Giesting attended Father Stephen T. Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio, and played college baseball at the University of Charlotte. During the summer of 2021, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Harwich Mariners.[39][40] As a sophomore in 2022, he appeared in twenty games (six starts) and went 7-4 with a 3.75 ERA over 74+13 innings. After the season, Giesting was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 11th round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[41][42] Giesting signed with Arizona for $400,000.[43]

Giesting made his professional debut that season with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks before playing with the Visalia Rawhide, pitching a total of 15+13 innings between both teams. He played the 2023 season with the Hillsboro Hops, starting 24 games and going 7-4 with a 4.00 ERA and 124 strikeouts over 117 innings. Giesting opened the 2024 season with Hillsboro and was promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles in mid-June.[44][45] He was named the Diamondbacks Minor League Pitcher of the Month in September.[46] Over 25 starts between both teams, he posted a 9-10 record and 3.31 ERA with 154 strikeouts in 141+13 innings. Giesting was assigned to Amarillo to open the 2025 season and was promoted to the Reno Aces in early June.[47]

Jack Hurley

Hurley attended State College Area High School in State College, Pennsylvania and played college baseball at Virginia Tech.[48] In 2022, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[49] After three years at Virginia Tech, he was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the third round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[50]

Hurley signed with the Diamondbacks and spent his first professional season with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks, Visalia Rawhide and Hillsboro Hops.[51]

Ashton Izzi

Ashton John Izzi (born November 18, 2003) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Izzi attended Oswego East High School in Oswego, Illinois. He committed to attend Wichita State University.[52] The Seattle Mariners selected Izzi in the fourth round, with the 126th overall selection, of the 2022 MLB draft.[53] He signed with the Mariners rather than attend college.[54] The Mariners assigned Izzi to the Everett AquaSox in 2025.

On July 24, 2025, the Mariners traded Izzi and Brandyn Garcia to the Diamondbacks in exchange for Josh Naylor.[55]

Izzi and his fiancé, Charlotte, became engaged at Funko Field in 2025.[56]

Yu-Min Lin

Yu-Min Lin (Chinese: 林昱珉; born July 12, 2003) is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Lin began playing baseball at age four. He has played on the Taiwanese national team (Chinese Taipei) in multiple international tournaments, including the World Baseball Softball Confederation U-12 Baseball World Cup, U-15 Baseball World Cup, U-18 Baseball World Cup, and U-23 Baseball World Cup.[57] He started two games for Taiwan's silver-medal run during the 2022 Asian Games, pitching to a 1–1 record with a 1.64 ERA and eleven strikeouts to three walks in eleven innings.[58]

Lin was signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks on February 16, 2022.[59] He made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and was promoted to the Low-A Visalia Rawhide and finished the season with a 2–2 record and a 2.72 ERA with 91 strikeouts over 14 starts.[60] Lin began the 2023 season with the High-A Hillsboro Hops, and was the youngest player on the Hops roster.[61] Prior to the 2024 season, Lin was invited to spring training for the first time in his career.[62] Lin joined the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League at the end of the regular season.[63]

As of the 2023 season, Lin throws a soft slider, a mid- to upper 80s fastball with arm side precision, and a changeup.[64]

Dylan Ray

Ray attended Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama and played college baseball at the University of Alabama.[65][66] He missed the 2021 season recovering from Tommy John Surgery and returned in 2022 as the team's closer.[67] In 2022, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Yarmouth–Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[68]

Ray was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fourth round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[69] He spent his first season with the Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks and Visalia Rawhide. He started 2023 with the Hillsboro Hops before being promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles.[70]

Kristian Robinson

Kristian Devaughn Robinson (born December 11, 2000) is a Bahamian professional baseball outfielder in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Robinson signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent in July 2017.[71] He spent his first professional season in 2018 with the Arizona League Diamondbacks and Missoula Osprey,[72][73] slashing .279/.363/.428 with seven home runs, 27 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases in 57 games.[73] He started 2019 with the Hillsboro Hops[74][75] before earning a promotion to the Kane County Cougars in August. Over 69 games between both teams, he batted .282 with 14 home runs, 51 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases. Robinson did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[76]

Robinson was arrested early in 2020 for allegedly punching an Arizona Department of Public Safety officer in the face after the officer found Robinson walking into traffic on Interstate 10. Robinson released a statement indicating he was suffering from mental health issues due in part to the pandemic. The start to his 2021 season was delayed because he remained in the Bahamas to deal with the resulting legal issues.[77] On August 17, 2021, Robinson was sentenced to 18 months probation.[78] Robinson did not play in a game for the Diamondbacks organization in 2021, but was selected to the 40-man roster following the season on November 19, 2021.[79]

After spending the 2021 and 2022 seasons on the restricted list, Robinson was activated on May 29, 2023, and optioned to the Single-A Visalia Rawhide.[80] In 43 games split between the rookie–level Arizona Complex League Diamondbacks, Visalia, and High–A Hillsboro, he batted a cumulative .271/.384/.452 with 7 home runs, 24 RBI, and 18 stolen bases. On August 12, Robinson was designated for assignment by the Diamondbacks following the promotion of Buddy Kennedy.[81] He cleared waivers and was assigned outright to the ACL Diamondbacks on August 17.[82]

A. J. Vukovich

Vukovich attended East Troy High School in East Troy, Wisconsin. He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fourth round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft.[83][84] He played his first season in 2021 with the Visalia Rawhide and Hillsboro Hops. In his 92 games that season, he had a .272/.320/.446 slash line, with 100 hits, 19 doubles, 3 triples, 13 home runs, 62 RBI, and 16 stolen bases

Vukovich started 2022 with Hillsboro before being promoted to the Amarillo Sod Poodles.[85]
