Phi Alpha Delta is a North American professional fraternity established in 1902 in Chicago, Illinois.[1][2]:197–200 It absorbed the Phi Delta Delta women's law fraternity on August 12, 1972.[3][4] Phi Alpha Delta has three types of chapters: law school, pre-law (undergraduate), and alumni (law school graduates and professionals).[5][6][7]
