Elephant	Danish Asiatic Company	The ship was lost in "Mosele Bay", near the Cape of Good Hope. There were 35 survivors; they were rescued by Onwerkirk ( Dutch Republic). Elephant was on a voyage from Tranquebar, India, to Copenhagen.[12][13]
