Mikhail Ivanovich Tsaryov (Russian: Михаи́л Ива́нович Царёв; November 18 [December 1] 1903 — November 4, 1987) was a Soviet theater and film actor, theater director, master of the artistic word (reader).[1] People's Artist of the USSR (1949).[2] Hero of Socialist Labor (1973).[2] The winner of the Stalin Prize of the second degree (1947) and the State Prize of the USSR (1969).[3] Member of the CPSU[4] (b) since 1949.
