Once Upon a Time in Iran (Persian: خاتون, romanized: Khatoon) is an Iranian historical drama romance television series created by Tina Pakravan, starring Negar Javaherian, Ashkan Khatibi and Mirsaeed Molavian, alongside an ensemble supporting cast.^[1][2] The first episode of this series was released on Namava on 9 August 2021.^[3][4][5][6]

Premise

The series centers on an Iranian Army family living in the northern part of the Imperial State of Iran whose life changes during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran in 1941.
