Pabna-1 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh. Since 6 August 2024, the constituency remains vacant.
Boundaries
The constituency encompasses the Santhia Upazila.[2][3][4]
History
The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.
Ahead of the 2026 genaral election, the Election Commission decided to reduece the boundaries of the constituency to exclude Bera Municipality, and four union parishads of Bera Upazila: Chakla, Haturia Nakalia, Kytola, and Nutan Bharenga.[5]
