Boundaries

The constituency encompasses Teutlia, Panchagarh Sadar and Atwari upazilas, except the Boda Pourashova area.^{[1][2][3][failed verification]}

History

The constituency was created in 1984 from the Dinajpur-2 constituency when the former Dinajpur District was split into three districts: Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, and Dinajpur.^[4]

Ahead of the 2026 general election, the Election Commission reduced the boundaries of the constituency to exclude the Boda Pourashova area of atwari upazilla.^{[5][failed verification]}
