Panchagarh-1 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad (National Parliament) of Bangladesh. Since 6 August 2024, the constituency remains vacant.

Boundaries

The constituency encompasses Teutlia, Panchagarh Sadar and Atwari upazilas, except the Boda Pourashova area.[1][2][3][failed verification]

History

The constituency was created in 1984 from the Dinajpur-2 constituency when the former Dinajpur District was split into three districts: Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, and Dinajpur.[4]

Ahead of the 2026 general election, the Election Commission reduced the boundaries of the constituency to exclude the Boda Pourashova area of atwari upazilla.[5][failed verification]
