Sanjeev Seth is an Indian actor who primarily works in Hindi television and films.[2] Seth is best known for playing Vishambharnath Maheshwari in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and its spin-off Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.[3]

Personal life
Sanjeev was married to actress Lata Sabharwal Seth.[4][5] They met on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.[6] They have one son, Aarav Seth, who was born in 2013.[7]They announced their divorce on June 21, 2025.
Sanjeev was previously married to actress Resham Tipnis. They divorced in 2004.[8]
Career
In his early years, Seth appeared in the 1993 television serial Campus.[9] Seth made his career with Karishma Kaa Karishma as Vikaram and then Seth signed for the role of Vishambharnath Maheshwari in the Star Plus television serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Sanjeev and his wife Lata also appeared in the Star Plus dance show Nach Baliye 6 in 2013.[10][11] Seth reprised his role as Vishambharnath Maheshwari in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, the spin-off series of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
