Sudheesh Sankar is an Indian film director who has directed Malayalam television serials and a few Tamil and Malayalam films.

His first directorial was the film Aarumaname. Sankar is known for the Dileep film Villali Veeran[2][3][4][5] and the popular Malayalam TV-series like Omanathinkal Pakshi, Ente Manasaputhri and Parasparam.

In August 2024, television actress Thara Lakshmi publicly accused Sudheesh Shankar of sexual misconduct during an audition for a short film in 2019.[7] According to Lakshmi, she was invited for an audition through a production controller and was informed that the role was "important" but required her to "adjust." During the meeting, she alleged that Shankar grabbed her hand, prompting her to leave immediately. She did not file a formal complaint at the time but later gave testimony to the Justice K. Hema Committee investigating abuse in the Malayalam entertainment industry.[8]
