Tecno Camon 30

Tecno Camon 30, Tecno Camon 30S Pro, Tecno Camon 30 5G, Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G and Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G are Android-based smartphones manufactured, released and marketed by Tecno Mobile as part of Tecno Camon 30 series. The devices were unveiled as successors to Tecno Camon 20 series.^[1][2]

The Camon 30 series is an upgraded version of Camon 20 series, coming with different features, including the OS, design and processor. The phones has received generally favorable reviews, with critics mostly noting the IP54 water/dust resistance, design and performance.^[3][4]

Hardware

As with the predecessor, all the devices feature an AMOLED display with 1080p support and a display size of 6.67-inches. Both Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G feature MediaTek Dimensity 8200.^[5] The Tecno Camon 30 5G features MediaTek Dimensity 7020.^[6] All models across the Tecno Camon 30 series come with 5000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery and support 70W wired fast charging.^[7]

Camera

Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G has a triple rear camera setup. A 50 MP (f/1.9 aperture, 23mm Focal length) main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 1/1.56" sensor size accompanied by Sony IMX890 sensor. It is capable of 4K video recording at 60fps, a 50 MP (f/2.2 aperture, 14mm Focal length) ultrawide lens with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) use for capturing broader scenes. This lens supports 4K video recording at 30fps and a 50 MP (f/2.2 aperture, 70mm Focal length) periscope lens offering up to 3x optical zoom. Selfie camera: A 50 MP (f/2.5 aperture, 24mm Focal length) wide-angle lens with autofocus (AF), supporting 4K video recording at 30fps.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup. A 50 MP (f/1.9 aperture, 23mm Focal length) main sensor with OIS, PDAF and sensor size is 1/1.56". This main sensor is capable of 4K video recording at 60fps, a 50 MP (f/2.2 aperture, 14mm Focal length) ultrawide lens with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor assists with portrait mode effects. Selfie camera: A 50MP (f/2.5 aperture, 24mm Focal length) wide-angle with autofocus support 1440p and 1080p video recording.

Tecno Camon 30 5G has a Dual rear camera setup. A 50 MP (f/1.9 aperture) primary sensor with OIS and PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor assists with portrait mode effects. Selfie camera: A 50 MP lens with autofocus support 1080p video recording at 30fps.^[7]

Software

The devices ship with Android 14 with HiOS 14 and will receive two major Android updates.
