The Spring Shopping Mall (Chinese: 新欣購物廣場) is a premier retail destination located along Persiaran Spring in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Officially opened in January 2008, it has remained one of the most prominent shopping malls in the state.
The mall features over 130 retail outlets across three floors and a basement level, offering a wide range of fashion, lifestyle, and dining options. Notable mini anchor tenants include GSC Cinemas, H&M, MUJI, Padini Concept Store, Uniqlo, and Ta Kiong Supermarket.

Entertainment offerings at tHe Spring include a cineplex operated by Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Malaysia’s largest cinema chain. tHe Spring is strategically located just before the Jalan Simpang Tiga flyover and directly opposite ST3 Shopping Mall, which is connected via a pedestrian bridge.It is also adjacent to Citadines Uplands Kuching, a popular serviced residence catering to both business and leisure travelers. The mall is approximately a 15-minute drive from both Kuching International Airport and the city’s central business district. Nearby landmarks include Swinburne University of Technology and several government offices, making the mall a convenient destination for students, professionals, and visitors alike
Transportation
The Spring Shopping Mall has a designated pick-up and drop-off zone located just beyond its premium car park area, serving buses, taxicabs, Grab vehicles, and other ride-hailing services. Alternatively, visitors can access public transport via the pedestrian bridge to ST3 Shopping Mall, which is served by Kuching City Public Link buses K8 and K11.[1]
Once completed, the mall will also be connected using the Kuching Urban Transportation System via SM11 The Spring ART station on the Blue Line which serves as its namesake and will be located across the outskirts of the mall.
