Prior to the 20th century
- 12th century CE – Maiden Tower (Baku) built.
- 1169 – Lezgi Mosque built.[citation needed]
- 1378 – Juma Mosque built.[1]
- 1442 – Palatial mosque of Palace of the Shirvanshahs built.
