Composition
Withered comprises 15 tracks[7] that blend melodic pop, indie R&B, ambient soundscapes, and lo-fi textures.[8] It features previously released singles such as "One More Dance",[9][10] "What Are You Waiting For",[11] "Where’d It Go Wrong?",[10] and "Crashing", the latter featuring Kali Uchis.[12][13][14] 2024 single "Feel It" appears on various versions of the album[15] and the Invincible soundtrack.[16][17] The album was released through Darkroom and Interscope Records. D4vd had said the album took two years to finish.[18] The album landed at number thirteen on Billboard 200 chart within two weeks of being released.[19] Lyrically, the album explores love,[20][21] identity, and emotional decay.
