    Synonym: -onként

Usage notes

  • (distributive-temporal suffix) It is used only with temporal expressions. Variants:
    -onta is added to some back-vowel words ending in a consonant
    nap (day) + -ontanaponta (daily)
    -anta is added to some back-vowel words ending in a consonant
    nyár (summer) + -antanyaranta (every summer)
    -ente is added to unrounded front-vowel words ending in a consonant
    év (year) + -enteévente (yearly)
    -önte is added to rounded front-vowel words ending in a consonant
    ősz (autumn) + -önteőszönte (every autumn)
