Suffix

-stit (with odd-syllable stems -astit)

  1. Forms verbs indicating a quick, sudden or sharp action.
    njuiket (to jump once) + -stitnjuikestit (to jump (once) quickly)
  2. Forms verbs indicating a small amount.
    addit (to give) + -stitattestit (to give a little)
    buorránit (to get better) + -stitbuorránastit (to get a little better)
