dosimeter (plural dosimeters)

  1. A device used to measure a dose of ionizing radiation.
    Dosimeters normally take the form of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL), photographic film, thermoluminescent devices (TLD) or electronic personal dosimeters (PDM).
