Noun
fishfly (plural fishflies)
- (Canada) A mayfly.
- Any insect in the corydalid subfamily Chauliodinae. Unlike most dobsonflies (subfamily Corydalinae) they don't have the enlarged mandibles typical (at least in the males) of that subfamily.
