  1. (anatomy) A band of fibrous tissue extending from the bladder to the umbilicus.
    • 2003, Douglas H. Slatter, Textbook of Small Animal Surgery, volume 1, page 1631:
      A persistent urachus exists if the entire urachal tube remains patent between the bladder and umbilicus.
