John Charles Harsanyi [ĝon ĉas harsanji], laŭ hungarlingve kutima nomordo kaj ortografio Harsányi János Károly [harŝAnji jAnoŝ kAroj] estis hungardevena, usona ekonomikisto, Nobel-premiito[1], membro honora de Hungara Scienca Akademio (1995).
John Charles Harsanyi naskiĝis la 29-an de majo 1920 en Budapeŝto. Li mortis la 9-an de aŭgusto 2000 en Berkeley.
John Charles Harsanyi devenis el juda familio. Li frekventis altlernejon inter 1938-1942. Li iĝis farmaciisto. En 1944 li estis deportita trudlaboristo. Post la 2-a mondmilito li plulernis kaj en 1947 li doktoriĝis. En la sekva jaro pro la ŝtatiĝo li rifuĝis kune kun la fianĉino al Aŭstrio. En 1950 ili migris al Aŭstralio, kie li laboris en fabriko 3 jarojn, poste li instruis en universitato de Brisbane, fine li instruis en Usono. En 1958 li doktoriĝis pri ekonomiko. Li ricevis Nobel-premion en 1994.
