Kumaonera (कुमाऊँनी) Indiako iparraldeko Kumaonen eta Nepalgo hegoaldeko Doti eskualdean hitz egiten den indo-ariar hizkuntza da. 1961ean egindako inkestaren arabera 1.030.254 hiztun zituen Indian[1]. 2011n 2,2 milioi hiztun zirela kalkulatu zen[2]. UNESCOren arabera, ez da arriskuan dagoen hizkuntzan, baina bere egoera ez da ziurra, hau da, kontserbazio lanak behar ditu. Devanagari alfabetoa erabiltzen du.
