Orisbergin kartano sijaitsee Isossakyrössä. Sen historia ulottuu 1670-luvulle, jolloin kolme vaasalaista kauppiasta perusti Orisbergin rautaruukin.
Odotusten vastaisesti seudulta ei kuitenkaan löytynyt rautamalmia, vaan se oli kuljetettava Ruotsista. Se kävi kuitenkin niin kalliiksi, että masuuni siirrettiin jo 1700-luvun alussa Oravaisten Kimoon, jonne syntyi Pohjanmaan toinen rautaruukki. Orisbergin historian kukoistus alkoi vuonna 1783, kun ruukin osti värmlantilainen vuorimies Bengt Magnus Björkman, joka samana vuonna hankki omistukseensa myös Fiskarsin ruukin. Haminan rauhan solmimisen jälkeen vuonna 1809 Björkman katsoi parhaaksi palata Ruotsiin ja luovutti ruukin pojalleen Lars Magnus Björkmanille, aateloituna vuonna 1834 Björkenheim. Hänen aikanaan ruukkia parannettiin ja toiminta alkoi viimein kannattaa.[1] Ruukkitoiminta Orisbergissa loppui vuonna 1900. Suvun toinen kartano oli Eurajoen Vuojoki.[2]
Edvard Björkenheimin (1856–1934) aikana Orisbergistä kehittyi Pohjanmaan edistyksellisin ja tärkein maatila. Kartanon alueelle perustettiin karjakko- ja meijerikoulu sekä maanviljelyskoulu 1880-luvulla.
Kartanon nykyisen, ruotsalaisperäisen I. Holmin[2] piirtämän päärakennuksen perustukset rakennettiin jo vuonna 1804, mutta kartano saatiin kokonaan valmiiksi vasta Suomen sodan jälkeen 1810-luvulla.[1] Orisbergista muodostui täydellinen ruukkiyhdyskunta, kun kartano sai oman hautausmaan ja Carl Ludvig Engelin piirtämän kahdeksankulmaisen puukirkon. Björkenheimin suku omistaa kartanon edelleen, ja sukua asuu siinä. Vuodesta 1927 kartanon omisti maanviljelysneuvos Lars Björkenheim, joka toimi puolustusministerinä Kuuskosken virkamieshallituksessa vuonna 1958 ja Miettusen ensimmäisessä hallituksessa vuosina 1961–1962.[3]
