Jawaani ke din aur parrhai

Satyajit ke pitaji ke naam Sukumar Ray aur maiya ke naam Suprabha Ray ( nee Das Gupta) rahaa. Jab Satyajit dui saal ke rahaa tab uske pitaji ke maut hoe gais rahaa aur uu aapan aaja ke ghare barraa bhais rahaa. Uske aaja ke ek printing press rahaa aur satyajit printing me dher interest liis rahaa.

Ray Ballygunge Government High School me parrhis rahaa aur uu Bachelor of Arts Presidency College, Calsutta se karis rahaa. II time uu dher Hollywood movie dekhis aur isse uske cinema me interest barrhaa. 1940 me Ray, Visva-Bharati University, jiske Rabindranath Tagore suruu karis rahaa, me parrhe ke suruu karis. Uu fine arts parrhis aur oriental arts ke pasand karis.

1943 me Ray ek British advertising ajency me kaam suruu karis, jahan pe uske artist, Annada Munshi train karis.[1] Iske baad uu uu ek duursa jagha bhi kaam kare lagaa jahaan pe uu Book ke cover ke desin karat rahaa.

1950 me uu London kaam kare khatir gais. 1955 me uu aapan pahila film, Pathar Panchali, ke release karis. 1956 me uu duusra film, Aparajito, ke release karis.
