Kejuaraan Dunia Moto2 2018 adalah bagian dari musim Kejuaraan Dunia F.I.M. ke-70. Franco Morbidelli adalah juara bertahan seri tapi dia tidak mempertahankan gelarnya saat dia bergabung dengan MotoGP.

2018 adalah musim terakhir di mana Honda CBR600RR paket mesin inline-4 — yang diumumkan dalam Moto2 musim 2010 - digunakan dalam kompetisi; saat paket mesin baru (765cc inline-3) yang dipasok oleh Triumph Motorcycles diperkenalkan untuk musim 2019.
Setelah finis ke-3 di Sepang pembalap Italia Francesco Bagnaia menjadi Juara Dunia Moto2 2018. Miguel Oliveira finis kedua dalam kejuaraan dan rekan setimnya Brad Binder finis ketiga.
