Pasung merupakan sebuah rangka kayu yang dipasangkan pada kaki, tangan, atau leher. Di Indonesia, pasung adalah cara kuno masyarakat tradisional dalam menangani penderita gangguan jiwa.[1] Dengan batang pohon yang telah dibelah, kedua kaki penderita jiwa diselonjorkan dan dibelenggu. Metode pasung banyak dilakukan keluarga tidak mampu. Di beberapa negara Eropa, pasung juga menjadi salah satu bentuk hukuman fisik dan penghinaan publik.
