Bobbi Starr agli AVN Awards 2009

La sua famiglia ha origini albanesi, italiane e ungheresi^[2]. Si è laureata alla San José State University in musica. Suona il piano, l'oboe e il clarinetto.

La carriera pornografica inizia all'età di 23 anni nel 2006, essendo rimasta affascinata dall'attrice Belladonna (con cui poi lavorerà e diventerà amica)^[3] e le prime scene sono di sottomissione e bondage per diversi siti internet, introdotta da un amico che lavorava per Kink^[4]. Nel 2013 ha annunciato di aspettare un bambino e che aveva trovato qualcuno di speciale con cui trascorrere il resto della vita^[9]. Il marito si chiama Ted Newsome e i due hanno avuto un altro figlio.
